Natalie graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance, a BA in English Teaching and a Major Equivalency in History Teaching, a TESOL certificate, a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, and is currently working on a Gifted & Talented Endorsement. As a dance major, Natalie had the opportunity to perform with the University of Utah's Performing Dance Company and work with a variety of professional artists, including members of the Trisha Brown Company, Alvin Ailey II company, Gabri Christa (founder of the Moving Body-Moving Image Festival), and so forth. Since that time, Natalie has taken West Jordan's Dance Company to work with a variety of professional artists, including master classes from Alvin Ailey in New York, Steps on Broadway in New York, members of the Dallas Cheerleaders organization, artistic directors at Disneyland, and local artists from Repertory Dance Theater, Ririe Woodbury Dance Company, Ballet West, and the Millenium Dance Complex of Salt Lake City. Natalie enjoys diving into choreography and bringing creative knowledge to her students. While her passion is modern/contemporary dance, Natalie also teaches jazz, lyrical, hip hop, IB dance, and yoga. This is her tenth year directing West Jordan's Dance Company and she looks forward to the years to come.
