New Vocal Music Director

Keith Evans joins the Jaguars after 10 years as a student and teacher at BYU. Mr. Evans earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from BYU, then became the first artistic director of BYU's newest performing ensemble, the a cappella group Noteworthy. While there, Mr Evans oversaw hundreds of Noteworthy's performances in 10 different states, as well as creating music videos with 55 million cumulative views. Mr Evans also co-founded the first a cappella summer camp, ReMix Vocal Academy, and served as its music director for seven years. Mr. Evans also enjoys performing at Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy. He, his wife Adrianne and their son Link live in Bluffdale.

Over twenty directors applied for this position. Mr. Evans was the top choice of Mr. DeHaan, the Administration and the Students. Each of our five finalists taught Mr. DeHaan”s classes for a day and the students then rated each finalists. Mr Evans was far and away the winner.
